Born in Toronto, just before the last Stanley Cup parade, I was moved immediately to Montreal where I enjoyed a healthy diet of hockey in the winter, street hockey in the spring and fall, and underwater hockey in the summer. (Okay, that didn't really happen)
Jump ahead forty years and I'm living the Canadian cliche in Burlington, Ontario with my pet moose "Jingles", just a slapshot away from the RCMP outpost. I play hockey on a team called the Barons, yes they do exist, and I live my life based on a simple set of ideals: I believe in 28 beer in a two-four, that a one piece stick is made of wood, and that life is a metaphor for hockey, and not the other way around.
