  Back to Carte Blanche
  Meet Lou Ford

Carte Blanche has two meanings. Firstly, it's literal meaning is a white (or blank) page. Secondly, it implies complete freedom of authority and/or will. These two definitions are also the reasons why I love cartooning. There is nothing more exciting, or liberating, than looking at a blank page. The possibilities are endless. Then there is the freedom to explore those endless possibilities; to pare them down and filter them through your own perception of life and all that it entails. In other words: I AM GOD OF THIS DOMAIN AND I CAN DO WHATEVER I DARN WELL PLEASE! YOU PUNY PLEBEIANS WILL KNEEL IN REVERENCE TO MY BRILLIANT ...ooops, got a little carried away there. Anyhow, I hope you will enjoy reading Carte Blanche as much as I enjoy creating it.
