STEPDAD is based on my real life experience transitioning from a 34 year old carefree bachelor to a husband and step-father.
Mike, the main character, had no idea the trials and tribulations he would experience adjusting to being newly married along with step- fathering a precocious, sassy little 11 year old, who was quite used to having her mom all to herself.
